Bumblebee Experiment: experimental design

Spencer Lynn, then a graduate student at the University of Arizona, designed a series of experiments to test whether bumblebees would show a "peak shift" if trained to forage on different colors.

This slide show will introduce you to the design of the experiments. A short animation on the next page will show you what the bumblebees did under "baseline" conditions. Then, you will get a chance to test your knowledge by predicting what the bumblebees would do under different conditions.

Coming soon: audio-only version of the slide show.

Coming soon: text-only content.
