The Herp collection houses over 50,700 cataloged specimens, the great majority of which are alcohol preserved. This collection has one of the best assemblages of reptiles and amphibians from Arizona and Sonora in the world. The Herp Collection was built largely by Dr. C. H. Lowe, now emeritus professor in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. Mr. George Bradley is Collection Manager.
