How
do you patent a scientific discovery? Dr. Scott joined the law firm
of Arnold, White and Durkee last year where she utilizes her scientific
background in the patent prosecution of biotechnological inventions
for a large number of university and industry clients. Prior to
joining the firm, Dr. Scott worked for the USDA in Kerrville, Texas,
as a research entomologist and conducted research at the University
of Arizona and the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia,
on the toxicology and molecular genetics of insecticide resistance.
