Talking Caterpillars: The Amazing Eversible Tentacular Organs The tentacular organs are a pair of eversible tubercules that are normally pulled inside the body of the caterpillar. The caterpillar can "inflate" them at will, caused the structure to be pushed out like a rubber glove being turned inside out. Mouse over the images to animate them.
