Biotechnology Lab
for
Arizona
Students and Teachers at Tucson High Magnet
School
The BLAST lab exists to provide students from Arizona with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a state of the art molecular biology lab.
The BLAST lab provides
researchers at the University of Arizona with an established
and proven
environment in which they can develop outreach programs to expose high
school
students to molecular biology.
This site outlines a
module
that PI’s can adapt to their research interests thereby simplifying
the
development of new outreach programs in molecular biology.
Researchers are encouraged to examine previous courses and develop new course materials for the BLAST lab that suit their own research program.
