- Bug fix. Bug: one could pick shuffling of both samples and individuals,
but only individuals would be shuffled. With "Retain Quadrat Sizes",
this would result in the exact same sample sizes being used for every
run, and was evident in the fact that the "Inds" column in
the output file contained only integers even when multiple runs were
averaged. Fix: shuffling of samples takes place first, then shuffling
of individuals. Note that the only effect that shuffling of samples
has when individuals are also shuffled is to shuffle the number of individuals
in each sample.
- Bug fix. Bug: If one input a vector file, ran once with shuffling
of samples, then ran without shuffling, the shuffled order of the previous
run would be used, rather than the original order present in the vector
input file. Fix: Each new run without shuffling reverts to the original
order of samples in the input file.

- Added curve-fitted Michaelis-Menten estimator
- Improved GUI, additional graphing options (Fisher's alpha, singletons,
doubletons, uniques, etc), and more.
|
0.8.1 |
8/1/00 |
- Fixed problem in using .VEC input files.
- Added switch to enable/disable printing of additional output files.

0.7.13 |
7/13/00 |
- Fixed bug that caused incorrect shuffling when Force # Inds was used.
- Added Make IID Patchiness, which imposes intraspecific aggregation
("patchiness") on shuffled data.
- Added Lognormal estimator.
- Added Michaelis-Menten estimator.
- Improved behavior of F6 estimator (previously took the value -1 more
frequently, meaning nonlinear fit was not achieved).
- Changed output file format slightly.
- Added 'copy' button, which copies WS2M's plot output window as a bitmap
to the Windows clipboard.

- Changed to date-based version #'s.
- The following combination of options would result in a hang: Shuffle
Incidences Only, Shuffle Individuals, Retain Sample Sizes, No Replacement.
No algorithm exists which can simultaneously satisfy these options,
so this combination is no longer allowed. The sampling can be done if
Make Exchangeable is used instead of Retain Sample Sizes, with the only
difference being that sample sizes are not conserved.
