Barry Rountree
PhD student (Computer Science)

My primary interests are in power-aware high-performance computing, performance modeling, virtual chemistry, abiogenesis, evolutionary programming, copyright and constitutional law, creationism and high-dimensional data visualization.  My undergraduate degree is in Theater (OhioU) and my MS is in Computer and Network System Administration.

After successfully completing my last biology class in 11th grade, I waited 25 years to take another in pursuit of a Ph.D. minor in EEB. I’m assisting with the network project coding in Dr. Masel’s group.

I do admit to setting a compute cluster on fire from several hundred miles away using only ssh and a fracture simulation kernel.
