Desert Mammal Ecology

(co-authored publications list authors in order)

Many ecologists now recognize the opportunities afforded by desert mammals to address general ecological questions. In the late 1960s, Rosenzweig and his students initiated these investigations of the ecological relationships of small desert mammals. They discovered that the interactions and diversity of small desert mammals hinge on sophisticated differences in habitats. These papers emanate from work both in the southwestern USA and Israel.
