Our butterfly work takes place mainly on the Santa Rita Experimental Range in Santa Cruz County. Our walnut fly work starts low in the foothills of many of the Sky Island mountain ranges such as the Huachucas and moves to higher elevations such as Carr Canyon as summer progresses. Bumble bee field work has taken place mainly on Mt. Lemmon in Tucson's Santa Catalina Mountains (not shown).
