This is the home page for the Plant-Insect Discussion Group in EEB at University of Arizona. Here you will find the current schedule of meetings and other information.
Participants in this weekly meeting explore the biology of plant-insect interactions at all levels of analysis, including mechanism, ontogeny, function, and evolution. Both plant-pollinator and plant-herbivore interactions are represented. We discuss new papers in the field, manuscripts written by group members, progress reports of ongoing studies, and sometimes listen to presentations by guest speakers. We drink strong coffee and eat treats of various description, usually unspoiled and tasty.
Graduate students have the option of participating for independent study credit.
We meet on Fridays from 9-10am in BioSciences West Rm. 302. If you are interested in participating and/or presenting, email Scott Powell at powells@email.arizona.edu |
